ENTERTAINMENT IN DUBAI

Entertainment has been the key to Dubai’s tourism. People from across borders and it would not be wrong to say that one day it would across the globes that people would be visiting Dubai to see as for how much can one make wonders out of plain sand. “Yowalah” is the spice that is always added to the entertainment of Dubai. This dance is done by young girls swirling their long hair and moving themselves to the famous and traditional tunes of Dubai. This state is a follower of the “Khalliji” tradition which is renowned in the entire U.A.E. There are a lot of functions that takes place for the entertainment of the city. Dubai being a cosmopolitan city has to add up every kind of spice and which it does all justice paid.

Apart from all the famous festivals Dubai is heart felt fan of both Hollywood and Bollywood movies. They had this time in 2004 had organized a film festival for both of the giant industry in which Amr Diab, Diana Haddad, Tarkan, Aerosmith, Santana, Mark Knopfler, Elton John, Pink, Shakira, Celine Dion, Coldplay, Keane , Phil Collins, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and A R Rahman[141] have performed in the city and without a doubt it was a rocking event. In this film festival Dubai even show cased its film talent. Various sort of Film Awards and specially Bollywood Award shows do take place like IIFA and Shah Rukh Khan;s tour of temptation. Another example is the “Dubai Desert Rock Concert in which most of the bands play heavy metal and rock music which again another flavor to the city.

Dubai has been the most influential place ever in the world, where people from all the borders come to meet and enjoy there guts out.  A kind of hospitality like this is mostly given in the city of life Dubai and no where else. Many times people even write off this city as a city of foreign investors which is not so true. If you analyze you would know that Dubai has used each and every resource to be in the market and make it big.
